Mallet-style instruments in folk music?

Hello everyone,I'm a beginning musician learning to play keyboard, glockenspiel, and drums.  Mallet-style instruments really appeal to me, but they don't seem to be very prominent in folk music.  My glockenspiel has been welcomed in every jam session I've been in, so I think there's potential here.  It's even appreciated in the traditional Irish music group I play with, but aside from some old Pentangle songs I'm just not aware of much glockenspiel (or any malleted instruments for that matter)…See More
